The Elitech EMTU series hydraulic cylindrical grinding machine is used for precision external OD grinding of cylindrical components including automotive shafts, bearing components, rollers, spindles and general engineering parts in both tool room and production environments.
The EMTU series is available in six standard models — EMTU 450, 600, 800 for shorter components and EMTU 1000, 1250, 1500 for longer shafts up to 1500mm grinding length. Maximum component weight is 60kg for smaller models and 90kg for larger models.
The EMTU series workhead spindle speed ranges from 50 to 450 RPM with variable speed control — suitable for grinding a wide variety of component materials and sizes with optimal surface finish.
Yes. An optional internal grinding attachment is available for the EMTU series with Ø60mm or Ø80mm spindle operating at 18000 RPM — enabling both external OD and internal bore grinding on the same machine.
