The X-axis is mounted on roller-type linear guideways for low-friction, high-speed response, while the Z-axis moves on Turcite-B coated V-flat guideways for smooth, wear-resistant motion. A precision taper grinding provision with manual screw mechanism enables taper angle setting up to 15° — making the i 100 ideal for transmission shafts, automotive driveshafts and stepped bore components.
